- The Great War 3: Lands of Torture
- Orc vs. Orc
-
- The story:
- After a crushing defeat, you leave your troops to gather reinforcements.
- A small outpost near Elwynn River seems safe enough for your troops to wait
- while you get reinforcements. Upon your return, you discover that Blackhand
- himself has ordered your extermination. While you were gone Blackhand's army
- destroyed your town and took many of your troops prisoner. With much of your
- town in ruins and only a few valuable troops, you must rescue your fellow
- troops from Blackhand's evil grasp and destroy the fortress that sends wave
- after wave of enemies to finish you off. Rumor has it that the enemy has
- constructed a mighty fortress, capeable off withstanding even the most brutal
- assault. You must destroy this fortress and all of its inhabitants....

- Note from the author:
- Hello all Warcraft fanatics! This is the third level in The Great War
- series. The first one is "The Great War," the second is "The Great War 2:
- Death Grounds," and now welcome to my third level "The Great War 3: Lands
- of Torture." This is an Orc vs. Orc level. I made it using the Windows
- map editor. You begin with 4 Raiders, 4 Spearmen, 2 Grunts, 4 Peons, 2
- Warlocks and 2 Necrolytes. How town is partially destroyed, but the enemy
- has fled upon your return. You have enough buildings for a start, but your
- lumber mill and tower have been destroyed, along with a couple of farms.
- When the level starts you will see that you have troops in three different
- areas. You have your main base with all of your guys, a prison with your
- troops awaiting execution (your troops CAN destroy the wall, but you are on
- an island and a tree is blocking the only path off, better get a Peon over
- there), and an arena with your Peons being executed as we speak. The guys
- in the arena are as good as dead, but you can rescue the troops in the
- prison. This level is only a CUSTOM GAME, so the enemy won't be using magic
- people (sorry, I'll fix it in my next level). This makes the level much
- easier, but it is still very hard. You won't have any technology when you
- begin, so if you want it, you research it. I beat my level in only a few
- tries. Well, that just about wraps it up. Good luck!
