  1.           THE GREAT WAR 2: DEATH GROUNDS!

  7.     Hello all. It's been a while since I uploaded "The Great War," and 
  8. since then I've gotten quite a bit of e-mail. Somepeople beat it and sent 
  9. me their file, others asked me for help,and still others just wanted to 
  10. thank me for giving them a challenge. The download count of "The Great War" 
  11. is like 189 (!). I wasn't expecting so many people to notice it.
  12.     Anyway, you probably already know that I've made the sequel, and 
  13. since you're reading this you must have already downloaded it. I HAVE NOT
  14. BEAT THIS LEVEL YET, but then again, I haven'tried to yet. I'm sure it's
  15. possible, but I haven't done it yet.
  16.     This time around, you control the noble Humans. Personally, I like
  17. the Humans better. Your base has 5 farms, a town hall, barracks, lumber
  18. mill, stable, blacksmith, church, and a tower. You have 4 knights, 4
  19. archers, 4 peasents, 2 conjurors, and 2 clerics. Once again you do not
  20. have any technology. If you want it, you research it.
  21.     There are multiple enemy bases, and more parts where you can walk
  22. across water and trees. I had a LOT OF FUN WITH CATAPULTS (hint, hint) but
  23. you'll just have to see it for yourself.
  24.     For some reason, the Orcs peons act really weird. They will like walk
  25. around the entire map. I saw a peon walk INTO a raider, and then come out
  26. again without the sack of gold. I have no idea what causes this, but I
  27. don't think it will affect gameplay. There are still five peons working
  28. correctly. This is only a custom game, so the enemy doesn't use any cool
  29. magic spells. My next level will be copied over on of the last levels, so
  30. the enemy will use major summoning, etc.
  31.     Well, I know this file is much shorter than my first one, but I
  32. don't give any hints in this one. One last thing:
  33.             Sorry, :(  :(  :(  :(  :( but I lost the names of
  34. everyone who beat The Great War. The only name I remember is DARZAG, because
  35. he was the FIRST ONE TO BEAT IT, AND SEND ME THE FILE! But I still had
  36. a lot of fun looking at everyone's saved games. If you want to send me your
  37. saved games for Death Grounds, name the saved game after YOUR SCREEN NAME!

  40. P.S. I already have an idea for my next level! DO you want to be Orcs or
  41. Humans? Do you want to fight against the Orcs or Humans? E-mail me with the
  42. answers! Give an answer for both questions, because I can do a Orcs vs.
  43. Orc level, or Human vs. Human. Whichever gets more votes is the winner!
