  2.     The Frigate File Manager
  3.     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  4.     License for use and distribution
  5.     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  7.       The Frigate File Manager is shareware. This means:
  8.  
  9.    1. All copyrights to Frigate are exclusively owned by the authors
  10.       - Alexander Buzaev and Andrew Sergeev.
  11.  
  12.    2. Anyone may use this software during a test period of 30 days.
  13.       Following this test period of 30 days or less, if you wish to continue
  14.       to use Frigate, you MUST register.
  15.  
  16.    3. There are 5 basic types of licenses issued for Frigate, these are:
  17.  
  18.       a.  A single computer USAGE license.  The user purchases ONE license
  19.           to USE the Frigate File Manager on ONE computer.
  20.  
  21.       b.  A Multiple USAGE license.  The user purchases a number of USAGE
  22.           licenses for use, by the purchaser, the purchaser's employees or
  23.           acredited agents, on the same number of computers.
  24.  
  25.       c.  A SITE USAGE license.  The user purchases a single USAGE license,
  26.           authorising the USE of Frigate, by the purchaser, the purchaser's
  27.           employees or acredited agents, on an unlimited number of computers
  28.           at the same physical SITE location.  This SITE location would
  29.           normally be defined as a single building, but could be considered
  30.           to be a number of buildings within the same, general, geographical
  31.           location, such as an industrial estate or small town.

  33.       d.  A CORPORATE, NATIONAL or INTERNATIONAL USAGE license.  The user
  34.           purchases a single USAGE license, authorising the USE of Frigate, by
  35.           the purchaser, the purchaser's employees or acredited agents, on
  36.           an unlimited number of computers, regardless of location, but
  37.           owned or under the control of the purchaser.

  39.       e.  A CORPORATE, RESALE license.  The user purchases a license for a
  40.           limited and specified number of copies for the purpose of
  41.           reselling individual licenses to a third party with Frigate being
  42.           included as a part of another application or system.  This license
  43.           does NOT allow the direct reselling of Frigate as a stand-alone
  44.           product.

  46.       Once registered, the user is granted a non-exclusive license to use
  47.       Frigate on as many computers as defined by the licensing terms above
  48.       according to the number of licenses purchased, for any legal purpose.
  49.       The registered Frigate software may not be rented or leased, but may be
  50.       permanently transferred, in it's entirety, if the person receiving it
  51.       agrees to the terms of this license.  If the software is an update,
  52.       the transfer must include the update and all previous versions.
  53.  
  54.    4. The Frigate unregistered shareware version, may be freely distributed,
  55.       provided the distribution package is not modified. No person or
  56.       company may charge a fee for the distribution of Frigate without written
  57.       permission from the copyright holder.

  59.    5. To register you must complete the registration form and send it, with
  60.       registration fee, to one of the authorized registration sites, see
  61.       Register.TXT.
  62.  
  63.    6. Frigate File Manager IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS".  NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND IS
  64.       EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  YOU USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE AUTHOR WILL NOT
  65.       BE LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS, DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANY OTHER KIND OF
  66.       LOSS WHILE USING OR MISUSING THIS SOFTWARE.

  68.    7. You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell, modify,
  69.       decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the
  70.       licensed program, or any subset of the licensed program, except as
  71.       provided for in this agreement.  Any such unauthorized use shall
  72.       result in immediate and automatic termination of this license and may
  73.       result in criminal and/or civil prosecution.

  75.       All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by Alexander Buzaev
  76.       and Andrew Sergeev.
  77.  
  78.    8. Installing and using Frigate signifies acceptance of these terms and
  79.       conditions of the license.

  81.   10. If you do not agree with the terms of this license you must remove Frigate
  82.       files from your storage devices and cease to use the product.
  83.  
  84.       Thank you for using the original Frigate.
