  14. SpamEater Pro is an application that will clean 
  15. your POP3 mailbox of spam (unsolicited junk 
  16. email) BEFORE you download it with your
  17. POP3 email client. SpamEater Pro contain rules 
  18. that can effectively block 95% or more of the 
  19. spam in your mailbox. Featuring FAST and effective 
  20. spam removal, online filtering rules updates, flexible
  21. exception addresses for bypassing all rule and filter 
  22. processing, unlimited number of POP3 profiles / 
  23. mailboxes and more! SpamEater features an easy to 
  24. use user interface complete setup instruction to get 
  25. you up and running SpamEater in minutes.

  27. Minimum Requirements:

  29. 1) A network connection using TCP/IP (eg. Dialup Networking, LAN)
  30. 2) At least one email mailbox account on a POP3 server. (PLEASE
  31.    NOTE: SpamEater will NOT work with AOL, MSN or any web based
  32.    email service)
  33. 3) Windows 95/98, NT 4.0 SP3 (or greater), Windows 2000

  35. Installation:
  36. ------------------
  37. 1) Run the setupsep.exe program you downloaded and follow
  38.    the prompts to install on your system.*
  39. 2) Run SpamEater and step through the Setup Wizard (automatic
  40.    when run the first time or choose Help | Setup Wizard)**
  41. 3) Choose the File | Preferences menu item to further
  42.    configure SpamEater. (press F1 for help at any time) **
  43. 4) You're done! Review the online help for more information.

  54. * If you are upgrading a previous version of SpamEater Pro, be
  55. sure and install to the same directory where you previously
  56. installed SpamEater Pro. Your settings will be maintained in the
  57. new version.

  60. need to re-enter your POP3 Profile information. This is due to a
  61. change in the profile format that was necessary to accomodate new
  62. features coming in later releases of SpamEater Pro.

  66. Upgrading registration for previous versions: All registered
  67. users of previous versions of SpamEater Pro are entitled to a
  68. free upgrade to v3.10. To upgrade, simply install the new
  69. version on top of the old. Note that a new registration key is
  70. necessary from versions prior to the v2.6.7 release(s).
