  1. If you are currently using the Windows default CD Player, you 
  2. must change your system setting if you wish to use CD-Runner 
  3. as your default player instead.

  5. To register CD-Runner to be used by the Windows 95 Autoplay 
  6. feature, select "My Computer", "View", "Options", "File Types", 
  7. and "AudioCD"; highlight "Play", click "Edit" and in the 
  8. "Application Used..." line type: C:\CDRUNNER\CDLAUNCH.EXE 
  9. (or if using a different directory enter the correct name).

  11. If you wish to remove the Windows CD Player from your hard drive
  12. (it can easily be re-installed later from the Windows CD-ROM):
  13. select "Control Panel", "Add/Remove Programs", "Windows Setup",
  14. "Multimedia", un-check CD-Player and click OK.

  16. If you encounter problems with your system hanging or Windows 
  17. attempting to run other programs while CDs are loaded, you may
  18. modify your CD-ROM properties: select "Control Panel", "System",
  19. "Device Manager", "CDROM", double-click CD-ROM drive, 
  20. "Settings", "Options", un-check Auto Insert Notification and
  21. reboot your system as instructed. This has been found to correct 
  22. many CD-ROM drive incompatibility problems.
