  12. Installing CD-Runner
  13.  
  14.   1. Review the System Requirements(sysreq.txt) to ensure that your system
  15.      is compatible with this product.
  16.   2. Copy the CD-Runner download file into an empty installation directory
  17.      (such as C:\TEMP) and unzip. NOTE: Make sure that your temporary 
  18.      installation directory name does NOT include wildcards or special 
  19.      characters.
  20.   3. From the Windows Explorer or File Manager run setup.exe. 
  21.   4. You may delete the installation files upon completion of setup.
  22.   5. If the installation hangs at the "Automatic CD-ROM Drive ID" step,
  23.      restart the installation (you may need to reboot) and do not select
  24.      the automatic drive ID option (this is for a very few older CD-ROM
  25.      drives which were not fully compatible).

  27.   NOTE: you may install the "SL" version of CD-Runner into the same
  28.         directory as the complete CD/Multimedia version or vice-versa.

  32.   Once you've entered the CD-Runner program, screen-sensitive Help is
  33.   available at all times by pressing F1. You may also manually read the
  34.   help text files in the CDRunner\CDRHelp directory.

  52. How to Install Your User ID Key After Registering
  53.  
  54. After registering and receiving your CD-Runner User ID key:
  55.  
  56. 1) Unzip your emailed User ID Key into your CD-Runner directory.
  57. 2) Run CD-Runner, and from the About or Internet Menu screens simply
  58.    click the "Register" menu option. HINT: click on the "CD-Runner"
  59.    name on any faceplate (upper left corner) to go to the About screen.
  60. 3) That's it. Enjoy!

  62. Your User ID Key will work with ALL CD-Runner Version Upgrades of 
  63. the same series. To stay up-to-date on upgrades, simply visit our 
  64. site regularly and download the current file in your version series.
