  1. Hail, oh Great and Mighty Lothar,
  2.         ...may your noble ears bear this plea.  
  3.  
  4.     We the people of Rythe' are a hardy folk of farmers, living on the edge
  5. of Azeroth.  For thirty years we have lived at peace in a small river vale 
  6. which we now call Rythunve.  Originally when we settled the area, scouts 
  7. reported that a few orcs and trolls resided in the rocky hills to the north.
  8. My Father, Rynade, upon discovering the news requested aid from the late 
  9. King Llane.  
  10.     A dozen holy knights from Northshire came, leading twice as many 
  11. solidiers.  The night after they arrived an attack came through the darkness.  
  12. All would have been lost if our new guests had been just a day later.  But, 
  13. valor gleamed on enchanted blades and death was dealt quickly to our 
  14. assailants.  
  15.     For two months the knights stayed, enjoying the comfort of our
  16. secluded and lush valley of Rythunve.    Walls and guard towers were built to 
  17. help fortify our humble towne.  In addition, before leaving, the knights 
  18. built a church as a reminder of their love, honor, code, and of their most
  19. recent deed.
  20.     Now thirty years later, we fear the worst.  Orc activity rampages in
  21. the hills to the north.  Our garrison, about a score strong, have engaged in
  22. three small skirmishes of late.  Undead have been reported creeping around 
  23. in the woods to the west.  The night-watch reported seeing a huge demon
  24. snooping around on the other side of the river, only yesternight.  We fear 
  25. attack and our doom is imminent.  
  26.  
  27.     Please oh Great and Mighty Lothar come to our aid.  These are dark 
  28. times in this realm indeed, and your strength has never been more needed.
