- ***READ THIS***
- I have included a file called CCPATCH.PAT, this is a CCEDIT patch file
- that you can use to make this level a little more... fun. You need CCEDIT
- 2.0 or 2.1 and MAYBE older versions.

- Level replacement

- This file is meant to replace the last GDI mission. It does work when
- used with other missions, but has been designed specifically for this
- mission.

- Mission Description
- -------------------
- Prior to our planned destruction of NOD's Bosnian HQ, his forces stormed the base
- and won. Most buldings except for the VTOL pads have been captured, and all but a
- hand-full of engineers and grenadiers have escaped with base personnel within the
- mobile HQ. We having learned of this, sent 4 chinooks filled with their best equipment
- to re-take the base and repay Kane's deed. Ion cannons and Air strikes are at your
- disposal. Oppsostion is intense, and don't be fooled by huge massing of troops around
- enemy buildings, they WILL attack... at once.

- Level Description

- This level is fairly difficult. 9 Mammoth tanks are at your disposal (They are dropped
- off by chinook at the beginning), so line them up at the bridges leading into the base
- and that should take care of your defense problems, but not for long, you'll find out
- what I mean (Hint Hint- 277mm). NOD's base is up in the top right corner, with it's HQ and
- primary Construction Yard surrounded by MANY missle towers, OBs and turrets, along with
- about 4 or 5 SAM emplacements, which MUST be eliminated for airstrikes to be available.
- One note- DEFEND YOUR MHQ AT ALL COSTS, its destruction will result in YOURS!

- Put the savegame, INI, MAP and MISSION.INI files in the CC directory, the desc for
- the save game will be the name of my level, DESERT SHEILD. INI and MAP files will be
- included, and if you know what they are for then you should know how to use them,
