  39. I don't know about you, but we love Command & Conquer.  Especially
  40. multiplayer games.  But the packaged missions start getting boring after a
  41. while, so my search for extended gameplay led me to a favorite site on the
  42. World Wide Web called the Temple of the Conquerer (address below) initially
  43. contained about four new multiplayer levels.  Needless to say,
  44. C&C fever was on and only weeks later it tripled to over a dozen!  Now
  45. sites like The Ultimate C&C File Collection boast hundreds of missions and
  46. files for C&C!
  47.  
  48. Using all the available utilities at the time to shuffle the missions in
  49. and out of GENERAL.MIX got out of hand, so I took it upon myself to collect
  50. all these missions and put them into a new "Map Pack" so that everyone can
  51. have uniform setups for later upgrades to add additional map packs.

  54. 1.  *** NEWS AND FEATURES ***

  57. Phew!  After much a-do, We have finally gotten to release our GRAND-SLAM
  58. Gold edition of the Command & Conquer Map Pack!  The concept behind it is
  59. simple, include ALL MAP PACKS in one convenient package for the person
  60. starting up who doesn't want to mess with more than one file.
  61.  
  62. This package will be updated to include all Command & Conquer Map Packs as
  63. they are released.
  64.  
  65. We have attempted to work with the maker of the CC-PACK project to make the
  66. new release of Map Pack GOLD compatible with this smaller package of missions.
  67. We will attempt to keep compatibility but can not ensure 100% accuracy in
  68. future releases due to maxmimum mission space availability (73 Missions) and
  69. any author related problems following numbering plans.

  72. 2.  INSTALLATION NOTES

  75. Select install and it will copy the pack to your C&C directory.
  76. Exit Tacticla Operations and start C&C.
  77.  
  78. To play the new missions just make sure your all your competitors have
  79. Map Pack Gold installed and select from the new multi-player missions.

  81.     UNINSTALLATION NOTES

  84. Open your C&C directory and type GLD2UNST.BAT this delete every file
  85. that was installed.  Then delete the batch file. All done.
