  9. The XingIt! MPEG Player Software Demo program uses a Window's bitmap driver
  10. to communicate with your PC's video hardware. This device independent bitmap
  11. (DIB) driver is active by default, so XingIt! works with any Windows-compatible
  12. video hardware. To achieve even faster playback of MPEG video files, you
  13. can disable the DIB driver and use one of XingIt!'s DIRECT drivers. 
  14. XingIt!'s two DLL files contain drivers that are specific to certain "video
  15. processors" supported by the Xing software. The appropriate driver selection
  16. is made either during program installation or subsequently by the use of
  17. program menu options as follows:
  18.     - Make sure the "Use DIB" item is unchecked
  19.       in the player's "View" menu;
  20.     - Choose an appropriate item in the "Video Driver"
  21.       item in the "View" menu.
  22.     - Choose "Save XingIt! Preferences" from the "Preferences" menu.
  23. A list of the supported video processors, and some boards
  24. which use them, is given below.  Actual compatibility has not been tested
  25. with all of the listed boards and is assumed:
