  11.     on PC systems with COMPAQ  Q-Vision  Video

  14.     The Xing Video drivers embedded within MPEG320.DLL & MPEG160.DLL
  15.     are compatible for operation with the Compaq Advanced VGA, with which
  16.     QVision boards are backward compatible.  But, you cannot use
  17.     QVision Windows drivers with our video file.  Rather you must ensur
  18.     that the Advanced VGA driver is installed for the QVision adapter board.

  21.     1.  The Windows video driver installed via the windows SETUP icon should
  22.     first be changed to the CPQAVGA.DRV driver.  If this cannot be done
  23.     within the SETUP program of Windows, you must accomplish this by
  24.     manually editing the SYSTEM.INI file.

  26.     Look in SYSTEM.INI and locate the parameter
  27.         display.drv=QVISION8.DRV
  28.            and change it to
  29.         display.drv=CPQAVGA.DRV
  30.  
  31.     Using the display driver disk supplied by COMPAQ, locate the file
  32.     CPQAVGA.DRV and copy it to the \SYSTEM subdirectory of your \WINDOWS

  35.     2.  Using the COMPAQ supplied utility program CPQSETUP.EXE it will be
  36.     necessary to assure that the D/A converter (DAC) is selected to 8-bit
  37.     operation.

  41.     use the menu to select the Xing Video driver for Compaq
  42.        select:   View - Video Driver - Compaq AVGA.
