- BUZZ.mpg - a 60 frame mpeg animation of a bee buzzing around a flower.
- Done with imagine, in trace mode.

-
- Hi, this is a little animation I used to try out different ways
- to make MPEG's from Imagine PC. Note that this is to make XING
- compatible MPEG files, since the player for these is so much
- better (Check out the player for windows.. it's surprisingly fast,
- I think it's called MFWDEMO or something like that. Even lets you
- add audio tracks).
-
- Here's how to do it:
-
- Set your render dimensions to 160X120.
-
- Render the frames to 24 bit TIFF.
-
- Use the program display (archive DISP156F) to convert
- to 24 bit targa. Image alchemy should also work.
-
- Go into the pictures directory and do dir /B > pic.list
-
- Get the program CMPEG, and type "cmpeg -v1 -x i.ctl pic.list anim.mpg"
- (make sure cmpeg and i.ctl are in the same directory).
-
- And you're done.. your mpeg animation is in anim.mpg
-
- A note: you will notice fringing around moving objects. You can
- get rid of this if you render to 256 colours, but the file size
- winds up being the same, and your animation is no longer 24 bit.
