  2.                   SPELLBOUND! DEMO DISK - USER GUIDE

  5.       The purpose of this disk is to give you a flavour of SPELLBOUND!
  6.       without having to incur the expense of buying the full pack.
  7.       The DEMO is a restricted version of the actual program, but it
  8.       has been set up to allow you to examine the features which make
  9.       it such a powerful educational tool.
  10.  
  11.       An informative manual is provided with the full version. It
  12.       explains in detail how to get the best from the program.  For the
  13.       purposes of this DEMO, the following should suffice:

  15.         We recommend you study the Control Section on disk.  In the
  16.         full version, you can configure the program to suit any user's
  17.         ability, as well as edit the words used in each session.
  18.  
  19.         Pressing <Ctrl-Q> lets you leave the game section of the
  20.         program.  To quit the program press <Ctrl-Q> at the Control
  21.         Screen.  After several screens, you will return to DOS.
  22.  
  23.      Feel free to browse through the program and the Control Section.
  24.      Don't be afraid to experiment, you can't do any harm.

  26.                      DEMO DISKS - Conditions of Licence

  28.      You can make as many copies of your DEMO DISK as you wish and give
  29.      them to others.  The following conditions shall apply.

  31.      We, Lander Software ('Lander') retain proprietary rights in the content
  32.      of all disks/cassettes ('the Software') and its documentation which is
  33.      licensed to you on the following conditions:

  35.      1  Use of this Software (or a copy thereof) by you or any other party
  36.         confirms acceptance of these Conditions.
  37.      2  You are permitted to make any number of copies of the Software and
  38.         also to store the Software on a hard disk if you have one.
  39.      3  You may not use the Software (or any copy thereof) for public
  40.         library, club or commercial purposes unless you first acquire the
  41.         appropriate Lander licence.
  42.      4  Alterations to and versions of the Software (or any copy thereof)
  43.         and/or its documentation may not be made without our prior written
  44.         consent.
