- An important feature of this program is the ease with which it can be
- configured to suit any user. You can customise the program thus:

- 1 Sound
- Press <1> to choose from the following: ALL (all available sound),
- FX ONLY (sound effects/speech only), MUSIC ONLY (music only), and
- NONE (no sound at all).

- 2 Scan speed
- Sets how long it takes the spider to catch the butterfly in 'Spider'
- as detailed below:

- 3 No. of questions
- Determines how many questions the program asks during each game.

- 4 No. of attempts
- This sets the number of incorrect attempts before the user
- is given help.

- 5 Lowest number
- The computer generates random questions. This option allows you to
- set the lowest number to be used, in Train and Spider, the lowest sum.

- 6 Highest number
- The computer generates random questions. This option allows you to
- set the highest number to be used.

- 7 Addition bond
- Determines which addition bond is used.

- 8 Equals
- Determines which symbol is used.

- 9 Record results
- Determines whether or not the student's results will be recorded.

- A Hide this section
- Determines whether or not the access instructions on the Control
- Screen are displayed.

- P Printer
- Select your printer. If it is not listed, set it up to emulate one
- which is.

- V View results
- Details of the last ten sets of recorded results can be viewed and
- printed from here. For further help on 'View results', press <V> at
- the Parent/Teacher Section, then press <F1>.

- S Save new defaults
- Press <S> to save current settings as new defaults.
