  1. Hi, here are some indispensable prgs and some little extra.
  2.  
  3. To see my falcon desktop, rename your file deskicon.rsc to 
  4. deskicon.rso for instance and the same for newdesk.inf rename it to 
  5. newdesk.old. Then copy deskicon.rsc and newdesk.inf in C drive .
  6. Reboot and it's ok.
  7.  
  8. Now to use the very good and fast image( Gif, Jpeg)viewers, just take a
  9. picture and throw it in one of the apx.tos prg. The extension will be the
  10. same.

  12. Autosort is a prg to sort the order in your auto folder, very 
  13. important.
  14.  
  15. Keyedit is a little prg to remap your keyboard as you want, and thus 
  16. create an auto prg that you'll place in c:/auto/
  17.  
  18. 1Stguide is nice because it opens most of the files. You can view text, 
  19. img file, JPG files, sound .avr, etc... 
  20.  
  21. Fpatch2 is good to have in your auto folder for communication, this is 
  22. a little patch to redirect the bios.

  24. DRVIN7 and SCC7 go together and in this order in your auto folder, 
  25. This is the last version of HSmodem07.

  27. Playwave is a player for WAV files. Just throw the file in it.(TTP prg)

  29. Bootconf allows you to configure the NVRAM, then reset and it changes
  30.  
  31. FTL is the best text viewer if you don't have nvdi. NVDI causes a 
  32. little screen problem.

  34. FCOUNTER is to count the folders in your harddrive and it adjusts 
  35. automatically the file foldrxxx.prg from your auto folder.

  37. FOLDRxxx.prg fixes the prb with the number of folder. replace the xxx 
  38. with the number that you would like. If you have 250 folders in you HD 
  39. then rename it to FOLDR250.PRG.

  41. Sysinfo gives you a lot of informations about your system.

  43. Whatis63 is a little usefull prg sometimes. It gives you the type of 
  44. a file. It is very good if you don't know what a file is or lost data 
  45. to recover the names after salvaging the data for instance..
