- To use SBPLAYER.EXE, just put it in the directory with the Sound
- Blaster files that you want to play. You will also need to have
- the PLAY.EXE file either in the same directory or in a pathed
- directory. The first time that you run SBPLAYER.EXE or whenever
- you add files to the directory, start the program with a /n switch.
- Such as sbplayer /n This will create or update the file list.
- When the menu starts it should say file list. There will be a
- column of files listed in column ten. Press the F1 key to get a
- list of the key commands that you can use to navigate the list of
- WAV, VOC, MID and CMF files that are in the list. The word EXIT
- will be high lighted. If you press enter you will leave the
- program. Use the arrow keys or the joystick to high light the file
- that you want to play. Press enter or pull the trigger ( button #1
- ). The word play will now be high lighted. If you press enter the
- file will be played. But you can
- go and high light as many files as you want to before you
- press enter on play. With a two button joystick the bottom button
- or trigger will act like the enter key. The top button will act
- like the ESC key. If the program doesn't seem to work right, you
- may need to add a line such as DEVICE=c:\dos\ansi.sys to your
- config.sys file. If you have any trouble, a comment or a
- question about the program, I regularly monitor Blind Talk and
- Blink Talk in the Fidonet conference. Or you may write or call.
