- You can locate and retrieve wave files stored in the subdirectories. Wave
- Browser provides two methods for you to do so. You can either scan the
- subdirectories when you browse a directory or select Scan Subdirectories from
- the Options menu.

- Note: If you have previously scanned the subdirectories when you browse a
- directory, a tick appears in the Scan Subdirectories option in the
- Options menu.

- 1. Select Configure from the Options menu.
- The Configure Browser dialog box appears.

- You can play wave files singly or in a group.

- To play a single wave file:

- 1. Double-click a wave file in the wave table.
- Alternatively, choose a wave file in the wave table and select Play in the
- Control menu.
- The selected wave file plays.

- To play a selection of wave files:

- 1. Select the wave files in the display box.
- To select nonsequential files, press CTRL and select the files.
- 2. Select Play in the Control menu.
- The selection of wave files plays in sequence.

- Note: You can choose to play the wave files that you have not selected.
- Simply, select Reverse Selection from the Control menu before you play
- the files.

- 1. Select the wave files in the display box.
- 2. Select Playing Mode from the Options menu.
- A cascading menu appears.
- 3. Select Introduction to play the first 10 seconds of the selected wave files
- that are recorded in PCM format.
- To play the entire wave file, select Complete.
- 4. Select Play from the Control menu.
- The wave files play.

- 1. Select Stop from the Control menu.

- 5. Choose OK to confirm.
- A new window appears.

- Note: When there is more than one window, Wave Browser automatically
- includes a new menu option for you to switch between the windows. When
- you select this option, a pull-down menu appears. This pull-down menu
- contains the <Directory Names> of all other Wave Browser windows and
- Close All.

- The wave table displays information on the wave files' properties in a
- directory. The wave table is split into two panes. The left pane displays
- details regarding the file while the right pane shows the properties of the
- wave recording. You can resize the table split by dragging the split bar to a
