  13.   REQUIREMENTS:     80386 or higher processor

  16.             Roland SoundCanvas(SC55)  probably works on SC155
  17.                           probably won't work on SC55 MKII
  18.             midi interface (optional-but handy)

  20.   transfer all files above to harddisk directory (important to keep all files
  21.   in the same directory).  From Windows, create New programs (icons) for:
  22.         initsc.exe   and   sc55.exe
  23.  
  24.   initsc.exe :  simple program to set the SoundCanvas to General Standard
  25.         (GS) mode.  Also refered to as General Midi mode.  Select
  26.         the only menu item to reset/set SoundCanvas.
  27.  
  28.   sc55.exe   :  Graphics/Text editor for SoundCanvas.  NOT a parameter
  29.         editor.  Visually indicates Graphical/Text messages then
  30.         translates into ASCII text System Exclusive (sysex) message
  31.         that is sent to the Clipboard.  Optionally, sysex message is
  32.         sent to the SoundCanvas for viewing.  Further info is shown
  33.         when the program is run for the first time - or view the
  34.         sc55.hlp Help file from Windows.
