- RPC061 The HAMMERKLAVIER Sonata, mv.1, Opus 106 by BEETHOVEN
-
- Step entered August 1994 by MSB
-
- This work is a precise reproduction of Beethoven's composition.
- He dedicated this 1818 work to Archduke Rudolph for his 13th birthday.
- The last 18 measures are a "Happy Birthday to Rudolphus" refrain.
-
- This is considered a difficult piece. Few pianists are able to reproduce
- it as written, so it is rarely heard publicly. There are passages with
- triplets and eighths played simultaneously as well as 5 note chords
- for both hands and long trills.
-
- The sequence occupies 7 tracks/channels with unique PAN values for each.
- The listening effect is that of sitting on the bench with the piano lid
- removed.
-
- Playing time as sequenced is 15:42.

- RPC074 WHEN THEY BEGIN THE BEGUINE by COLE PORTER
-
- Step entered in July 1994 by MSB.
-
- This sequence uses patches that are not usually used at these octaves,
- e.g.:the "bowed glass" patch makes an excellent pedal "stop" for the
- organ. All patches are selected for maximum theatre organ realism.
- Controllers like "chorus" at maximum also add to the effect.
-
- This piece was especially arranged for the theatre organ and the tempo
- is quite fast. When fast pieces were played on real organs, the pneu-
- matics at times fell behind the pace of the performer. Large scale pipes
- also took a finite time to begin to speak. These characteristics are all
- simulated in this sequence.
-
- The last measure contains a series of control events that will restore
- your synthesizer to neutral ground. Playing time as sequenced is 3:58.

-
- RPC145 MOONLIGHT SERENADE, Composed and arranged by Glenn Miller
-
- Step entered in November 1993 by MSB.
-
- This sequence uses the patches that seem to reproduce the "Glenn Miller"
- sound which was the true hallmark of the Big Band era. Controllers that
- modify attack time and modulation ramps are employed for realism. The
- target synthesizer is a Roland SC55 but others will work as well.
-
- A sequence of control events in the last measure will restore your
- synthesizer to neutral ground. You should always let the sequence run
- to completion to take advantage of this "reset".
-
- Playing time as sequenced is 4:07.

- RPC155 PEER GYNT SUITE #1 by Edvard Grieg, his opus 46.
-
- Step entered in December 1993 by MSB.
-
- This sequence is a precise reproduction of the conductor's score. The
- music is in four movements:
-
- MORGENSTIMMUNG - Morning Mood
- ASES TOD - The Death of Ase
- ANITRAS TANZ - Anitra's Dance
- IN DER HALLE des BERGKONIGS - In the Hall of the Mountain King
-
- The sequence uses 15 tracks/channels. Each group of orchestral
- instruments has a unique PAN value assigned, putting the listener at
- orchestra center. A series of events in the last measure will restore
- your synthesizer to a neutral state.
-
- Playing time as sequenced is 12:39.

-
- RPC250a Heaven's On Their Mind from Jesus Christ, Superstar by Rice & Webber
-
- Step entered in November 1993 by MSB.
-
- This "Rock Opera" was the rage 20 years ago. It was both irreverent
- and religious. It ran for many years and was even heard in some
- churches.
-
- There are only a few patches in this sequence but the Complete work
- (RPC250) is rich in instruments and voices and is over 27 minutes in
- duration.
-
- Control events in the last measure will restore your synthesizer to a
- neutral condition. Always let the sequence complete itself to take
- advantage of this "reset".
-
- Playing time as sequenced is 4:22.
