- ABOUT SONATAC
- =============
-
- This is Beethoven's "Sonata in C" for solo piano. A very lovely, simple
- piece which most beginning pianists tackle fairly early on. Not sure where
- I encountered it, but, being for solo piano, it only took a few seconds to
- get running with my synths.
-
-
- TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
-
- 'SonataC.mid' is a multitrack MIDI (Type 2) file. If your sequencer is
- unable to deal with this type of file, try using 'SonataC.md1', which is
- a Type 1 file containing both the left- and right-hand parts merged together.
-
- There's only one instrument used in the piece, so you have a lot of leeway
- in deciding what to make it sound like. For the Roland D-70 and Proteus/1,
- I chose the following alternatives:
-
-
- ROLAND D-70 SETUP
- =================
- Channel #1 -- GrandPf Sw(1) vol 127
- [Note: you may need to map the tracks one octave higher
- in order to use this patch.]
-
-
- EMU PROTEUS/1 SETUP
- ===================
- Channel #1 -- Harpsikord(32) vol 127, pan P
