- Piano Concerto in A minor, Op 54, Robert Schumann
-
- This concerto was composed between 1841 and 1845 and was dedicated to
- Ferdinand Hiller. The 1st movement is Allegro Affectuoso, the second
- is an Intermezzo, and the 3rd is Allegro Vivace.
-
- The 1st movement is in one single track midi file, sch1-1.mid, and the
- second and third movements have been combined into one file,
- schmn2-3.mid. This arrangement is for two pianos.
-
- I sequenced this using a Yamaha Clavinova, Midisoft "Studio" for
- Windows sequencing program, and a 386 PC. The sequence will sound
- best with plenty reverb and chorus. It should be played on a similar
- electronic piano or a good synthesizer. It sounded great on my
- Roland jv1080.
-
- I will not be producing any more concertos for two pianos. Now that I
- have my new jv1080 I will be producing an orchestral accompaniment
- for the concertos. This should make an enormous improvement.
-
- I hope you enjoy these sequences.
