  18. *   Help File Graphics

  20. ▄   Yes, they are supposed to look like that. They're *supposed* to look
  21. ▐   like that (with green coloured bits, etc) on 24 bit as well, but I
  22. ▐   didn't have time to convert them to 16 colours (the programs I tried
  23. ▐   wouldn't do it the same as WinHelp, so I would have had to mess with
  24. ▐   Photoshop).

  27. *   Bugs

  29. ▄   Hmm? There aren't any! :-) Seriously, there are a few *possible* bugs, 
  30. ▐   mainly due to me completing this upgraded version in two days.

  32. ▐   ∙ Closing MIDI ports when minimised may not work as expected
  33. ▐
  34. ▐     I couldn't find another program to reliably use the MIDI ports and
  35. ▐     report errors, in the time available. 
  36. ▐
  37. ▐   ∙ The minimised icon does not display properly. Also, the icon is
  38. ▐     absent from the Alt-Tab display.
  39. ▐
  40. ▐     This is due to the way the program is written as a dialog box. The
  41. ▐     changes to get it to work are fairly minor but I ran out of time.

  43. ▐   ∙ Do not try to run two copies of Sysex Manager unless really necessary.
  44. ▐     If it *is* necessary, ensure they never try to access the same port.

  47. *   Why it was rushed
  48.  
  49. ▄   Well, my programs are usually rushed for something or other! This time,
  50. ▐   it was to try and get it done for the Best of British Shareware CD.

  55. ▄   More than was initially planned! :)

  58. ▐   ∙ A comprehensive and nice-looking help file

  60. ▐   ∙ Proper registration facilities
