- Hi, I'd like to know if it would be possible to code an SBOS that doesn't
- use the FM samples or something, but transelates FM to MIDI in realtime,
- so instead of FM, there will be GUS patches to be used ... ?

- Bwah. From LISTENING to FM sound, it can be difficult for a
- HUMAN to tell what instrument the composer intended it to sound like. I
- don't think you'll be able to get a program small enough to be a TSR to
- figure it out just from the couple parameters it gives you.. Also, a lot
- of the sounds of FM do not overlap with the GM patch set.
