  16.     The 2.21 SDK has the Focal Point 3D software and manual pages, maybe all of
  17. this legal mess with Focal Point (at least some of the recent digests have
  18. suggested legal troubles) has pushed Gravis to pull out the 3D functions and
  19. release 2.22 without them (2.21 wasn't put out all that long ago, I wouldn't be
  20. surprised if this were the case).
  21.     On a similar thread however, has anyone actually used the 3D functions
  22. on the GUS? Have you had any success and/or failure and how easy/difficult were
  23. they to use? I have been considering porting our 3D sound API to the PC (from
  24. SGI workstations) and would love to support the Ultrasound if it would be easy
  25. to do. Also, does anyone know how easy it would be to utilize the 3D library
  26. and the Win3.1 sound API together? All of our 2D stuff will be written for
  27. Win3.1's API (and Win95's when it gets closer to shipping) but I would love to
  28. say "You can get 2D sound with any Win3.1 compatible soundcard...but if you
  29. want 3D..."
  30. It would be a nice little boost for our underdog of a soundcard. :-)
