-
- Hi.
- In the documentation for the SDK (v211) it mentions that the 3D sound
- pre-processor, FP3D is included with the package - but it isn't!
-
- Is FP3D available an any FTP sites? It would be nice to be able to make
- our own 3d sounds, wouldn't it?!

- -->>FOrte TEch and they said Crystal Semiconductor (manufacture of the mixer
- -->>CODEC) could help me. this was about a mth ago. I requested information of
- -->>all kinds after calling Long Distance. They said they were mailing out the
- -->>information, but I haven't received it yet.
- -->
- -->I have all the info you need from Crystal (the complete Data Book on their
- -->products). But the question is how to share it. It's just a little-bit too
- -->much to write :-(. Maybe some scanned pages in GIFs ? I have to check how
- -->much MB would be that. Any suggestions ? If I remember things right, it's
- -->at least 20 pages double-sided including pictures and diagrams and tables.
- -->Maybe if I manage to select what's important, it'll look easier. You don't
- -->need the electrical specs like S/N ratio, channel separation or so, do you ?
-
- Well, _I_ would be interested in the Electrical Specs too, but I'm
- an Electrical Engineering Student. The only suggestion I have is to send
- photocopied pages to someone would be interesting in SCANning the pages and
- then using OCR software to convert the scans to PC characters. Then one
- could simply upload the text.

- --> This is to the person who requested information on the
- -->Ultrasound's mixer. It might not be totally what you want, but the most
- -->recent SDK for the regular Ultrasound has both C and Pascal routines. I
- -->think the Max's and the original GUS's mixers should be very similar so
- -->you might get some hints from that. Hope this helps...
-
- In my case it would not help considering that the SDK does -not-
- come with SOURCE code for the hardware interfacing. The SDK routines have
- just a little too much overhead for what I want.
-
-
- Any takers of the SCANning project?
