  40. True, but those discussions dealt with compatibility and GENERAL 
  41. problems, etc.  Since this is a music digest, I am hoping to see more of 
  42. a review of the PnP as a tool of music composition, and how it IYO fares 
  43. in midi playback, not discussions and complaints of why it doesn't work, etc.

  61.      What programs are these?  It is kind of hard to give a clue without 
  62. knowing what programs do not work, and specifically how they do not work?
  63. Most likely, the programs do not work for a simple reason (wrong config,
  64. or because of a basic difference between the InterWave and the Gravis). 
  65. For example, I would not expect the Gravis Ultrasound Windows drivers to
  66. work with the InterWave.  Of course, I know your not trying to use the
  67. GUS windows drivers with the GUS PnP, but it is a good example.

  71.      Again, what do you mean?  It is kind of hard to answer your question
  72. without getting some idea of what is not working.  I have found no problems
  73. with the joystick port on the InterWave so far.  But, when improperly used,
  74. many games or programs will have problems with any joystick port.

  78. P.S.  Don't you think these more general questions belong in the gus-general
  79. group instead of the music group.  You might get more response from the
  80. general group.  Just a suggestion.
