  31. The reason the FAQ lists Cubase as patch caching is that I saw a prerelease
  32. version at a show 3 years ago that did just this.  I guess it never made general
  33. release.
  34. I use an old version of cakewalk and the 'quick patch loader' available from
  35. the ftp site.
  36. Please please please email me if you find any mistakes like this in 
  37. the GUS midi music FAQ

  57. Calkwalk Pro supports basic patch caching. You can tell it to update
  58. patch caches, and it does so based on the patches you're currently
  59. using, which is good. However, it has no provision to support any kind
  60. of patch banks on the GUS, so you're limited to 128 patches if you
  61. want Calkewalk to control them. This isn't bad if you're using the GM
  62. set that comes with Cakewalk, but it is if you have 100's of others to
  63. choose from on disk, and would like to be able to get to them in some
  64. reasonable fashion.
