  19. There is an update to the windows version of BIAB which _does_ use patch
  20. caching.  It works perfectly, and is much more convenient than trying to
  21. load a 1MB GM set at first or else manually loading them with patch
  22. manager.

  24. The update fixes and adds other things too.

  26. I can't remember the exact version numbers because I borrowed a copy to 
  27. see how well it worked; I have long since given it back and deleted 
  28. the files.  I can ask about it though.  There may also have been additional 
  29. updates since that time.

  50. You need to have Band in a Box version 6.03 to get GUS patch caching.  The
  51. "out of the box" versions here in Australia all arrive as version 6.00,
  52. and you may well have received version 6.00 from wherever you purchased
  53. your package.

  55. I picked up the clue about a later version with GUS caching from one of
  56. the newsgroups a few months ago and sent an e-mail to the Band In a Box
  57. suppliers explaining my problem.  They posted a disk to me with the
  58. version 6.03 software on it.

  77. with the GUS MAX's full duplex in mind.  It is shareware.
