  19. I had an idea for GUS, but I'm not sure if it's really working:

  21. The GUS can simultanously use the DAC and ADC (the SB cannot). There are
  22. really good guitar processor which can produce very cool effects. Theh use only
  23. digital (as far as I know) functions to make these sounds. So if I plug
  24. a guitar to the GUS mic in and have the effect functions I can execute them
  25. on the incoming data, and send them to the GUS output. It must be workin'.
  26. I've never tried it but if someone can please ANSWER me ASAP!!!
  27. Or is the GUS or the computer too slow to calcute the effects realtime?

  49. I for one am very happy to see Eric Bell's announcement of new patches for
  50. the GUS.  However, for some of us $135 is still a fair amount of cash to
  51. lay out for unknown quality.  I wonder if Eric could post one or two of
  52. the patches that he thinks represent a big improvement, so we could hear
  53. for ourselves.
