  15.
  16.     I'm having problems with patchmaker. All other progs. run ok
  17.     but when I try to run pmaker I get the error message, "One
  18.     of the library files required to run this app. has become
  19.     corrupted, re-install". I just installed it though!.
  20.
  21.     I then re-installed windows to no avail, so has anyone got
  22.     any ideas on which library is corrupted and how to install
  23.     an un-corrupted version of it.
  24.
  25.     Thanks

  41. Subject: ScreamTracker 3 help please!
  42.
  43. I'm sorry if you've seen this before as I posted it on a couple of
  44. newsgroups but I really need help on this....
  45.
  46. I'm having a weird problem with ScreamTracker, has anyone else ever
  47. heard of this before...if so is there a way around it?  I'm using
  48. ST3.2 and a GUS Max.
  49.
  50. This is what's happening.  I have a sample that when played at a
  51. certain note it lasts about 4 seconds.  What I want to do is
  52. gradually pan it from left to right while it's playing using the S8x
  53. command. It works and sounds great in ST3 but when played with any
  54. other player, and I've tried them all, after it finishes panning
  55. the note ends up being too short.  Now if I bring the note down
  56. half a step it comes out sounding ok in all the other players but it
  57. lasts too long and doesn't sound right in ST3.
  58.
  59. This is the weird part....say I have it where it's sounding good
  60. in ST3 but doesn't sound right in all the other players.....if I
  61. take out all the panning commands (S8x) then in ST3 it does what
  62. all the other players do, the note cuts off too short.  Unless I
  63. lower it a half a step but if I lower it and add the panning
  64. commands back it lasts too long in ST3.
  65.
  66. What's wrong here??  It's kinda irritating since I want people to
  67. be able to listen to it in ST3 or any other player...help, please!
  68.
  69. Thanks!
