  4. UltiMOD looks and tries to work like your stereo. First of all you have to load 
  5. a modfile or songlist. 
  6.  
  7.  What all the items on the main window do: 
  8.  
  9. After you loaded a modfile, the name of the song is displayed on the title bar 
  10. of the window. The filename and the type of music file are displayed in the 
  11. groupbox. 
  12.  
  13. The entries 'Playing Pattern', 'Song Position' and 'Song Speed' are updated 
  14. while the modfile is playing. 
  15.  
  16. Play button :  Plays a modfile when one is loaded or loads and plays a modfile 
  17.                when you have just loaded or created a new songlist. 
  18.  
  19. Rewind button : When a modfile is playing this button activates the rewind 
  20.                procedure. Every second Rewind puts the song 3 positions back. 
  21.                Use the Stop button when you have reached the song position you 
  22.                want. After you've pressed the stop button, you can continue 
  23.                with the song using the Play button. 
  24.  
  25. Fast Forward : Works just like rewind, just that it puts the song 3 positions 
  26.                forward every second. 
  27.  
  28. Stop button :  This button halts the song at its current position when one is 
  29.                playing. Pressing it a second time resets the song position to 
  30.                the beginning. 
  31.  
  32. Pause button : Pause the song. When pressed a second time the modfile continues 
  33.                where it left off.

  35. Volume Circular Slider : Set the volume to a value of your choice. 
  36.  
  37.                Note:  The volume level is saved in the file 'ultimod.ini' when 
  38.                you exit UltiMOD. 
  39.  
  40. Next Song button: When a songlist is loaded, this button skips the first song 
  41.                in the list. However, when a songlist is playing, this button 
  42.                stops the current song, loads and starts to play the next one. 
  43.  
  44. Previous Song button: Identical to the next song button, except that this one 
  45.                uses the previous song in the list. 
  46.  
  47.                Note:  When 'random play' is selected, there's no difference 
  48.                between the next and previous song buttons. Both randomly select 
  49.                a new song which hasn't been played before.

  80. The File menu contains commands that you use to open modfiles or open, save or 
  81. create songlists. Use the exit menu item to quit UltiMOD. The following 
  82. commands appear in the File menu:

  84. Load           Load a single modfile

  86. Load Songlist  Load a Songlist. The first modfile in the list will be loaded.

  179. choices:       Add Song, Remove Song and Clear List.

  184.  How to play a sample at a specific note and octave:

  186. Select a sample: Pick a sample from the selection box in the upper left corner 
  187.                of the dialog box.

  189. Select a note: Using the slider you can select a note from C up to B.

  191.                Note:  The first time the default note is C. 
  192.  
  193. Select an octave: Click on one of the radio buttons to select an octave.

  197.                Note:  When you select a note and octave and use the OK button 
  198.                to close the dialog box, your selections are saved.

  205. Select 4 channels To choose 4 channels out of the available 32 select the 
  206.                appropriate enty from the combobox.

  208. Enable/disable a channel. Select one of the checkboxes to disable (not checked) 
  209.                or enable (checked) one or more of 4 channels.

  211. Set the balance position of each channel. Move the sliders to the required 
  212.                position of the channels.

  214.                Note:  The balance settings will be saved in the file 
  215.                "ultimod.ini".

  220. All the following settings are saved in the file 'ultimod.ini'.

  222. Song Delay     Select the length of the pause (in seconds) between two songs in 
  223.                a songlist. 
  224.  
  225. Random Play    Enabling random play (checked box) causes the files in the 
  226.                songlist to play in random order. If you disable it, UltiMOD 
  227.                plays the file in your songlist in the order they were selected 
  228.                when the songlist was created. Default is enabled. 
  229.  
  230. Position Jump  Disable position jump to prevent modfiles from entering a loop 
  231.                when playing a songlist. Default is disabled. 
  232.  
  233. Looping checkbox Enable (checked) or disable (not checked) looping of songs. 
  234.  
  235.                Note:  Looping is ignored when a songlist is playing. 
  236.  
  237. BPM            Enable or disable support for the NoiseTracker speed effect. 
  238.                Default is disabled. 
  239.  
  240.                Note:  Some modfiles (i.e. klisje.mod) need this option enabled
