  11. YOU MUST HAVE INSTALLED OS/2 MMPM/2 SOUND BLASTER SUPPORT (FOR ANY CARD IN 
  12. THE SB FAMILY) BEFORE RUNNING THE DRIVER INSTALLATION PROGRAM PROVIDED HERE.

  14. You could install Sound Blaster support in MMPM/2 by selecting any card from 
  15. the SB family in OS/2 MINSTALL program.

  21. IF YOU DOWNLOADED THE PACKAGE FROM COMPUSERVE OR OUR BBS, PLEASE MAKE SURE
  22. THAT YOU RESTORE THE DIRECTORY STRUCTURE STORED IN THE ZIP FILE WHEN YOU 
  23. UNZIP THE PACKAGE. IF YOU ARE USING PKUNZIP TO DECOMPRESS THE FILES, USE 
  24. THE -d OPTION. REFER TO YOUR DECOMPRESSION PROGRAM FOR THE EXACT OPTION.

  28.    INSTALLATION

  31. 1) To install this beta driver, change directory to the diskette containing 
  32.    the installaion package, and type "INSTALL".
  33.  
  34. 2) Double click on Sound Blaster AWE32 Driver from Available features: 
  35.    list box. The Sound Blaster AWE32 Driver would appear in the Features
  36.    to be installed: list box.
  37.  
  38. 3) Choose Install pushbutton to start installation.

  40. 4) Sound Blaster AWE32 drivers would be copied to the MMPM/2 base directory.

  42.    Note: The Target Directory: field in the installation window might display
  43.    C:\BLASTER. This is the default for Sound Blaster packages and hence it
  44.    is displayed so. You can ignore this as audio drivers are copied to MMPM/2 
  45.    base directory.

  47. 5) After copying the drivers the installation progran would prompt you to 
  48.    proceed only if you have Sound Blaster support installed in MMPM/2.

  50. 6) If you choose to proceed, the installation program would update the
  51.    config.sys to use Sound Blaster AWE32 drivers just copied.

  55.   Additional Note For Simultaneous WAVE & MIDI Playback

  57. If you would like to have simultaneous WAVE and Midi playback on your
  58. Sound Blaster AWE32, please follow these steps:

  60. 1. Copy the supplied SOUNDBLS.dll to \MMOS2\DLL.
  61. 2. Make sure the following lines, in \MMOS2\mmpm2.ini are the same as
  62.    they appear here:
