  7. The Shareware concept:
  8.     Scream Tracker is distributed as shareware. This means
  9.     that the unregistered evaluation version can be 
  10.     distributed freely. With evaluation version you can
  11.     test the product before making the decision.
  12.     After 30 days of testing, you must decide whether you will
  13.     or will not use the program. If you decide to use it,
  14.     you are under both moral and legal obligation to register
  15.     it with the author. If you decide not to use it, and 
  16.     act according to this decision, you are under no obligation.
  17.     The Scream Tracker is protected by international copyright
  18.     laws, and the registered version must not be copied to 
  19.     any other than personal use.

  21. What is gained by registering:
  22.     After you have registered, you'll receive a registered
  23.     version of Scream Tracker, which will contain functional
  24.     Save routines and the Load Amiga Module function. 
  25.     Registered users will also get free updates by modem
  26.     as the program developes and bugs are fixed. (If complex
  27.     changes are made, a small fee might be required.)
  28.     Registered users will also receive a printed Quick
  29.     Reference Chart for commands.

  31. Receiving modules when registering with program sent on disk:
  32.     You can add a list containing module names, which you
  33.     want to be set to you with the registered version.
  34.     List modules in priority order, where the first one
  35.     is the one you want the most and so on. I'll fill the
  36.     remaining space on disk with modules from the list.
  37.     Remember not to pick too many modules. Remember 
  38.     the space on the distribution disk is limited. If there
  39.     are more modules listed than space availible, the last
  40.     listed modules are not sent.

  44. How to register:
  45.     You should send me a letter including the registeration
  46.     form (REGISTER.FRM) in printed or otherways copied form
  47.     and fully filled and signed. If you send a check, you
  48.     can include it in your letter. After I have received the
  49.     letter and verified that the registeration fee has been payed, 
  50.     I'll send the registered version.

  52. What does it cost:
  53.     Registering will cost 190 FIM (approximately $48).
  54.     
  55. Payment methods:
  56.     The registeration fee can either be transferred to
  57.     my account at Postipankki Finland, Turku,
  58.         Sami Tammilehto
  59.         account number 88888806517704 (or TU-651770-4)
  60.     or it can be sent with the letter by means of a check.
  61.     (Address located in the end of this file). If you use
  62.     money transfer, you can include a copy of the money 
  63.     transfer form. This will enable me to send your registered
  64.     version faster.

  66. Registered version sending methods:
  67.        The fastest method is by modem. If this is selected,
  68.     I'll make a private upload to your name at Silicon
  69.     Dragon and send a private message informing you that
  70.     the program has arrived. If you select this method,
  71.     remember to include your username at Silicon into
  72.     the registeration form.
  73.       The secondary method is sending Scream Tracker
  74.     on 1.2MB 5ΒΌ" diskette by post. The posting expences
  75.     are included in the registeration fee.
