  3.               DSMI LICENSE AGREEMENT AND COPYRIGHT NOTICE

  6.         Digital Sound & Music Interface (hereafter DSMI) is protected by
  7.         Finland's and international copyright laws. Making any copies of
  8.         it is considered a copyright violation with one exception. You
  9.         may take copies for archival purposes to protect your investment
  10.         from loss. You may not sell or give away this product.
  11.  
  12.         This license guarantees you the right to use DSMI in your own
  13.         software if you don't charge for your software i.e. your
  14.         software is not commercial.
  15.  
  16.         You may not distribute any of the source code or object
  17.         libraries included in the package with your software, except for
  18.         the object modules linked into your program. The example
  19.         programs are for educational purposes only and may not be sold
  20.         or given away.
  21.  
  22.         The included source code may be edited anyway you wish, but
  23.         original copyright notices must remain in the code.
  24.  
  25.         You are prohibited to disassembly or reverse-engineer the
  26.         code in this package.
  27.  
  28.         With respect to the physical diskette and physical documentation,
  29.         author (Otto Chrons) warrants the same to be free of defects in
  30.         materials for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. If
  31.         the material is found defective during that period, author will
  32.         replace the material for a nominal fee (postal charges).

  34.         DSMI is provided as is and author disclaims all other warranties
  35.         including but not limited to implied warranties of fitness for a
  36.         particular purpose.

  38.         In no event shall the author be liable for any loss of profit or
  39.         any other commercial damage, including but not limited to
  40.         special, incidental, consequential or other damages.
