Welcome to Tartaruga v1.1

Please read before installing

0.) All text has still to be corrected. Anyway here we go.

1.) Systemrequirements
----------------------
The Programme requires MS-DOS version 6.0 or later,Windows 3.1,
1.5MB of diskspace a Soundcard and a CD-rom drive to have full
access possibilities.

2.) The program files
The shipped zipfile contains alse the following text files:
    VENDOR.TXT, REGISTER.TXT.

The archive file for BBS, FTP and others should be "TURTLE##.???"
where ## is the edition (now 1.1 so 11 stripping the last number for subrevision);
the extension ??? will depend upon the archive method (ZIP, ARJ ecc.).

Short Description for BBS:
  >Tartaruga: Dumps CD-Audio-raw data, Time Expands wave files without
  >changing Pitch for analysing lightspeed soloing and phrasing.
  >Filters will help you to localize better the notes used by the
  >artists in their solos. Special wave player helps you to listen
  >to the sound.

3) Backing up the files
-----------------------
Please first back up your files (the zip-file at least).
The Programme does check for data corruption (this can be caused by
hardware failure, virus or attempts to hack the program and many more
reasons) and will refuse to run if the files do not check out. In
that case, your only recovery will be from your backup.

4) Copy Protection
------------------
This programme is not "completly" copy protected. Some parts are free
others are sharewared and again others are accessible with a hardware
key ;-) You are encouraged to use this program for 30 days prior to
obtaining a permanent license.

5) Shareware concept
--------------------
You may copy this program "turtle##.zip" as long as you do not change
it. You may not share the registration key, which is supplied to
licensed users only. You may not charge for sharing a copy unless you
comply with the provisions in file VENDOR.TXT.

If you do not have a copy of this software and wish to distribute it
it for a fee, please contact me at (xx39)-11-7790523 or email [e-mail].

If you choose to continue using the program and register, that
registration key may be used only on the computer specified in the
original order for the license. The key is strictly bound to the computer
hardware. Further registrations could be done for a small additional fee.
Misuse of a registration key file is subject to collection of triple the
fees that should have been collected and all legal fees and costs.
Licenses are not transferrable and may not be modified.

6) License agreement
--------------------
WizardMusic/Italy disclaims all warranties relating to this software,
whether express or implied, including but not limited to any implied
warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose,
and all such warranties are expressly and specifically disclaimed.
Neither WizardMusic nor anyone else who has been involved in the creation,
production, or delivery of this software shall be liable for any indirect,
consequential, or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability
to use such software even if WizardMusic has been advised of the
possibility of such damages or claims.
  In no event shall WizardMusic's liability for any damages ever exceed the
price paid for the license to use the software, regardless of the form
of claim. the person using the software bears all risks as to the quality
and performance of the software.
  Some states do not allow the exclusion of the limit of liability for
consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitation may not
apply to you.

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Italy and shall
insure to the benefit of WizardMusic and any successors, administrators,
heirs and assigns.
Any action or proceeding brought by eitherparty against the other arising
out of or related to this agreement shall be brought only in a
STATE or FEDERAL COURT of competent jurisdiction located in Torino, Italy.
The parties hereby consent to "in personam juris" diction of said courts.

It is your responsibility to determine if the program will work reliably
on your equipment and for your particular environment.


7) Attention:
-------------
This software probably has bugs; no significant software has ever been
produced without them.

If you feel that this program can be improved in some way, we are
open to your ideas. If you discover a problem, please inform us,
and we will attempt to fix the problem. In any case, your remedy for
any problem is limited to the purchase price paid to WizardMusic.
WizardMusic does not guarantee the accuracy of the information presented
in this book. It is your responsibility to obtain competent legal
and accounting advice and to investigate any companies or people
with whom you are considering doing business.

If products listed as part of the registration incentives become
unavailable for distribution, other products that have value to
shareware authors will be substituted.
Some of these products may be shareware, which will require you to pay a
registration fee if used beyond the evaluation period.
There may be occasional delivery delays of up to six weeks if extra print
runs have to be ordered.


If you don't agree with all of these conditions, delete the program
from your disks and don't send any money at all.
