  11. With over 250 poster entries this year for the 1999 SIGGRAPH Student Poster
  12. and Animation Competition and Exhibition the jury was intense.   As in every
  13. year, there is a lot of fine work to consider for this show that exhibits
  14. onsite at the annual SIGGRAPH Conference, and then for the following year
  15. around the country and around the world.  This year the posters chosen were
  16. simply outstanding.  The quality of work that has been submitted has
  17. dramatically increased in the past years,  and every work chosen this year
  18. reflects a level of professionalism and design expertise that makes me proud
  19. to exhibit it.  The show will exhibit at the annual SIGGRAPH Conference in
  20. Los Angeles from August 8th - 13th.  It will then tour nationally and
  21. internationally for just over a year.  The show will also be included on the
  22. Conference Abstracts and Applications CD-ROM and the SIGGRAPH Education
  23. Committee Website at <http://www.siggraph.org/education/>.
