Farmland Industries, Inc. of Kansas City, Missouri has more than 600 affiliated cooperatives throughout the United States. Much of the financial information that moves between locations is still in paper form and the system for processing it is slow and often confusing.
Corporate headquarters recognized that adopting a specially designed electronic invoicing system would result in substantial benefits to both themselves and the member cooperatives. This interactive was designed to present the key benefits of this new system to the member company. The requirement was for a presentation that was "easy to watch" and yet covered the key points in a clear and concise manner. This presentation was designed by Ink & Image, Inc. to run on a laptop computer with a 75 MHz Pentium processor.
