  1. This command writes a string to a file stored on the user's local disk. The filename is 
  2. specified in the prefName parameter; the string is defined in the prefValue parameter. 
  3. When the setPref command is executed, a folder named Prefs is created inside of 
  4. the Shockwave Support folder. Any file created by the setPref command is stored 
  5. within the Prefs folder. Macromedia recommends limiting the filenames stored in 
  6. prefName to 8 or less alphanumeric characters.
