• The QT 5.0 Applets-Droplets folder contains 32 AppleScript applet and droplet automation tools. See the Read Me file for an explanation of each.
• The QuickTime Player Scripts folder contains 100 AppleScript scripts for the QuickTime Player application. See the Read Me file for an explanation of each. These scripts are designed to be launched from the OSA Script Menu which is included with this bundle.
• The Script Templates folder contains 4 script templates to aid you in creating your own scripts. Replace the line: (-- SCRIPT PROCESSING STATEMENTS GO HERE) in each template with your AppleScript commands.
The Example Files folder contains example files of some of the new features of QuickTime 5.0 scripting and some files to be used for testing the various droplets and applets.
REQUIREMENTS:
• QuickTime 5.0.2 (These scripts may not work with earlier versions, including QuickTime 4.1 or with Mac OS X 10.0 - 10.0.5)
• Mac OS 8.5+ (Some of the scripts use features included with Mac OS 8.5 and higher)
• OSA Menu (A script menu, written by Leonard Rosenthol (www.Lazerware.com), which provides a convienient means for launching compiled scripts from within any application.
INSTALLATION:
If OSA Menu 1.2.2 or higher is not installed on your computer, run the OSA Menu installer. After restarting the computer, move the QuickTime Player Scripts to the Scripts Folder in the System Folder. The next time the QucikTime Player is launched, the QuickTime Player Scripts will be available from the OSA Script menu on the top right of menu bar.

The other items in the QT 5.0 Scripts folder do not require specific placement or installation. They are ready to use if the requirements listed above have been met.
