  35.          Cho' Gall woke. His head hurt.

  38.       His ears screamed.
  39.      He remembered the face of his son.
  40.     Elves had killed his son.
  41.    Elves, their former allies.
  42.   Turned away from them by humans.
  43.  Humans.
  44. Eternal hate for humans.
  45.  Eternal pain and agony for humans.
  46.   Humans that had killed his son.
  47.    His wife.
  48.     His people.
  49.      Slaughtered them like pigs.
  50.       Eternal hate.
  51.        Eternal hate.
  52.         Eternal hate.
  53.          HATE!

  55.           He filled with Power, he summoned the Preludes to lay at his feet, and

  61. He woke up in a mountain cave.
  62. He was feeling dizzy. And, he didn't remember anything of what had happened.
  63. Other head said: "what happened?"
  64. another head said: "I don't know. Do you?"
  65. then both heads said; "this place is evil. We must get out of here."
  66. His body agreed. 
  67. He rose and stepped out of the cave to find sun warming his cold body. Actually,
  68. it was a beautiful day. Other head said: "What a beautiful day."
  69. Other said: "Wonder where Cha'Gall is?"
  70. Then both fell dead silent.
  71. He remembered.
  72. His son had died.
  73. Killed by humans and elves.
  74. Elves, their former allies.
  75. Eternal hate.
  76. Eternal hate.
  77. "But no time to think of that now", the other head said.
  78. "We must find out did anyone survive."
  79. He took a fast pace to the village.
  80. Only ruins and bodies. Bodies of his people. Butchered like pigs.
  81. The other head fainted, and other threw up.
  82. "I cant believe this", both heads said, "humans must die."
  83. "Always die."
  84. He looked at the faces. Empty eyes, staring, asking "why?"
  85. They didn't know until now. Elves had betrayed them. Killed them.
  86. He searched all houses and found only bodies and shattered furniture.
  87. His own house was burned.
  88. "There is nothing left for me", he thought, but then, suddenly, 
  89. the madness struck him. "Eternal hate!" "Eternal hate!" HATE!
  90. The Preludes lay at Cho'Gall feet, engulfing him, and he gained the Power.
  91. He cast Runes and warped out of this world.

  101.      Peon scratched his head. He didn't know how to mine gold. Back in
  102.   Grump-Ahljon he had only chopped trees. He was very, very confused.
  103.   Then came another peon who aided him. They were living very simple life.
  104.   He was hungry. They should build farms to get some pigs to eat. But their
  105.   leader , Grump-Grunt, wanted to spare the money, for something he wouldn't
  106.   tell. The Peon was really confused, and went to sleep.

  109.       He was one of the refugees that were spared
  110.   the destruction of Grump-Ahljon. He were chopping the trees with his friends
  111.   when humans and elves arrived. They had ran away as fast as they could, miles 
  112.   to the west, across the hills, until they reached the lands of Alhjin' Dar,
  113.   Little Alhjin. There they founded a village, unaware of the danger waiting
  114.   for them, lying in the Shadow.

  117. Your mission is to build a village, defend it, search the place, and do what
  118. must be done.

  127. This is the first chapter of "When The Preludes Fall", written by Nae'Blis
  128. Some things in the story may not be clear, but don't worry, everything will
  129. be cleared up. The story didn't really start here; chapter 1 is just a
  130. foundation, the story will continue. And Cho'Gall didn't die, don't worry.

  135. Some of you might complain about the size of this level (64x64) but hey,
  136. this is the first level I've ever made for WC2.
