- CLICHE FINDER - IMPORTANT NOTICE
-
- This diskette contains the file CLFINDER.ARC. This is an archive file
- containing "crunched" files. That means the files have been made smaller
- using a special archiving process so that they could all be included on a
- single disk. To "uncrunch" them, you need to use the program ARCE.COM, which
- is also included. Follow these instructions to uncrunch your files:
-
- Before doing anything, make a backup copy of your disk. See the DISKCOPY
- command in your DOS manual. Put the original in a safe place, and use the
- backup for all your work.
-
- 1. IF YOU ARE USING A 2-FLOPPY SYSTEM: Start from the A> prompt, with the
- distribution diskette in the A drive. Be prepared with TWO blank, formatted
- diskettes. Enter the following command: DOTWO
-
- Follow the instructions on screen, which will tell you when to insert your
- diskettes into drive B.
-
- 2. IF YOU ARE USING A HARD DISK: Make sure you have created the subdirectory
- wher eyou want the files to be placed. Start from the A> prompt, with the
- distribution diskette in the A drive. Enter the following command:
-
- ARCE CLFINDER C:\SUBDIR /R
-
- Instead of "SUBDIR" type the actual name of the subdirectory you want to
- use. The program will now uncrunch all files and place them on your hard
- disk.
-
- 3. MANUAL: The instruction manual is contained in the program CLDOC.COM.
- Simply enter the command: CLDOC
