- ^P - allows insertion of next keystroke as data and not a command, also
- printer commands (^B,^C,^D,^E,^K,^S,^U)
- ^U - UNDO changes to current line (regret key)
- ^V - toggles INSERT/REPLACE mode
- ^[ - inserts a non-breaking space (appears as double headed arrow)
- TAB works (see ^O for setting and clearing )
- END - enter a character by its ASCII number
- F KEYS, and SHIFT/ALT/CTRL + F'S, are preset, but also USER definable! P

- Commands that you Initiate by first typing ^K are: R
- B - MARK the beginning of a BLOCK K - MARK the end of a BLOCK
- C - COPY a marked block V - MOVE a marked block
- Y - DELETE a marked block W - WRITE a marked block to disk
- F - FLIP the marked bock (rotate left to right)
- 0..9 - mark the current position for QUICK RETURN (see ^Q) as Nth marker
- S - Save current work to diskette N - New workspace
- R - Read in disk file P - Print
- G - HELP X - eXit Sapir and return to DOS
- E - rEname a file L - changed Logged disk
- J - DELETE a file from diskette O - cOpy a file on diskette
- A - change Active directory
- I - Inspect a file without reading it in
- You can request a DIRECTORY listing of any disk when asked for a FILE NAME. R
- Simply respond with ^F to the prompt.

- MISCELLANEOUS (also starting with ^Q):
- F-FIND A-FIND & REPLACE G-FIND & REPLACE to end of file
- M-Menu for Find/Replace options
- Y - DELETE to the LINE END
- I - INFORMATION. Keystrokes to cursor and word count
- Q - REPEAT the NEXT keystroke "n" times or until you hit the space bar
- P - return to PREVIOUS location
- L - jump to Line number

- Commands that you Initiate by First Typing ^J are:
- I - Initiate/terminate split screen edit
- T - Toggle active editing window
- J - Open third window; toggle second/third window

- C - Cut a define block to the "cut buffer"
- P - Paste the block in the "cut buffer" to current cursor position
- S - Sort a defined block M - menu allowing definiton of sort fields
- U - toggles "case" of a letter
- K - display the Nikud keyboard. In Taamim mode, will show Taamim keyboard

- Commands that you Initiate by First Typing ^O are: R
- L-LEFT MARGIN set, R-RIGHT MARGIN set, C-CENTER the line of text
- J - toggles JUSTIFICATION W - toggles WORD WRAP
- T - toggles TURBO cursor V - toggles VOWEL keyboard (regular)
- I - set a tab stop N - clear a tab stop
- E - toggles Nikud Editing, advancing cursor automatically after a vowel
- F - FORMAT margins and tabs according to text at cursor position
- H - toggles appearance of the Help Line
- K - toggles special left to right Number mode in Hebrew
- M - toggles appearance of the Ruler Line
- X - toggles Margins for one line (margin release)
