- DATA FILES --
-
- Fl-menu.dat is a file that provides the data for the pull-down menus.
- The other data files may be changed using an editor which produces ASCII files.
- each line contains a foreign word and its definition. They are separated by a
- comma, but no added spaces. The program reads the entire line and then divides
- the character string at the comma.
- Each data file contains five hundred lines. This could be changed in
- the source code to allow longer files, however longer files require longer to
- load.
- Files 1 and 2 are drawn from the first year book and file 3 begins the
- second year.

-
- SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS --
-
- The program was designed to run on the IBM-PC with Color Graphics Card
- and Color Monitor. It will also run on monochrome systems. The program was
- written and tested on a Zenith 150, so it should be expected to run on most
- PC clones.
-
-
- VERSION 1.1 --
-
- Version 1.1 contains expanded vocabulary files, modifications which
- enable the program to run on monochrome systems, and other slight enhancements.
