  9.                           WHAT IS SHAREWARE?

  11. Shareware  distribution  gives you a chance to  try  Chinese  Checkers
  12. before buying it.  If you try Chinese Checkers and continue to use it,
  13. you are expected to register.

  16. ImagiSOFT,   Inc.  retains  all  rights  to  Chinese   Checkers.    We
  17. specifically grant you the right to copy and distribute this software,
  18. under the limitations of the license agreement found below.

  20. Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of software. You should
  21. find  software  that  suits your needs and  pocketbook,  whether  it's
  22. commercial or Shareware. The Shareware system makes fitting your needs
  23. easier, because you can try before you buy.  And because the  overhead

  28. to  you for evaluation.  Feel free to share it with your friends,  but
  29. please do not give it away altered or as part of another system.   The

  32. to develop new products.

  37. trial period, you must send a registration payment of $14.95 to:

  44. Your  $14.95  registration will license one copy for use  on  any  one

  50.     - Disk Size (5.25" or 3.5")

  79. works  protected  by  U.S. and international copyright  law.  You  are
  80. granted a license to use your copy of Chinese Checkers only under  the
  81. terms and conditions specified in this license agreement.

  83. Chinese  Checkers is a commercial software product.  It is  not  free,
  84. nor  is  it in the public domain.  It is   distributed  as  Shareware,
  85. which  means  that  you may try the software before you  pay  for  it.
  86. However, you must stop using Chinese Checkers and remove it from  your
  87. computer if you decide not to pay the license fee.

  90. give  copies of Chinese Checkers to others if they also agree  to  the

  103.                     DISTRIBUTING CHINESE CHECKERS

  105. Anyone distributing Chinese Checkers for any kind of remuneration must
  106. first contact ImagiSOFT, Inc. at the address below for  authorization.
  107. This authorization is automatically granted to distributors recognized
  108. by the Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP) as adhering to its
  109. guidelines for shareware distributors, and such distributors may begin
  110. offering  Chinese Checkers immediately; however, ImagiSOFT, Inc.  must
  111. still  be advised so that the distributor can be kept up-to-date  with
  112. the latest version of Chinese Checkers.

  114. If you are going to distribute Chinese Checkers in a compressed  file,
  115. please  use  the  name CC11.??? (.ZIP, .ARC,  .LZH,  etc).   We  would
  116. appreciate  if  you would distribute our  original  CC11.ZIP  whenever
  117. possible so that new users can be assured that they aren't receiving a
  118. program infected with a virus.

  165. another  four weeks developing Chinese Checkers itself.  Russ spent  a
