  1. Welcome to a new concept in the reflective art of parenting.  The
  2. PARENT'S HOME COMPANION makes use of expert system technology to
  3. bring you individualized insight into the challenge of parenting.
  4.  
  5. There is no manual-- the program was written to eliminate the
  6. need for one.  Just follow the instructions on the screen.  If no
  7. instructions appear-- just wait, the program will move on.
  8.  
  9. One word of caution.  The program is designed for a single child.
  10. The first person through sets the program up for that child.  It
  11. can be used for up to five users who help to raise that child.
  12. To start the program over from the beginning and eliminate all
  13. data- type in RESET at the A>.
  14.  
  15. To begin any session with your COMPANION, boot your computer with
  16. your disk operating system, insert the COMPANION disk in the
  17. drive and type in PHC followed by the ENTER key.

  19. We hope you find the program useful and are willing to support
  20. the concept of the PARENT'S HOME COMPANION.

  22. This particular program is focussed on helping you sort out your
  23. GENERAL approach to Discipline.  It is NOT focussed on any particular
  24. type of discipline problem or problems.
