      Nimonik is a complete computerized learning environment designed to
help adults learn and memorize almost any subject.  Nimonik is not a game
or children's educational program.  Fast, efficient, and easy to use;
everything is menu-driven.  Nimonik really works.  Here's how:

    You enter everything you need to learn or memorize into NIMONIK.  It
then helps you drill, review, and test on the material quickly and
effortlessly.  NIMONIK automatically keeps track of where your weaknesses
are and gives you the most practice in those areas, thus saving you hours
of time and work.

    It helps you organize and manage your learning too:  you can print,
edit, add, copy, merge, etc.  Multiple users can study multiple subjects.
Files can be as large as your disk space will allow.

What subjects can NIMONIK help you with?  Here's a portion of the list:
English, Latin, physiology, microbiology, botany, zoology, philosophy,
history, bible study, computer terminology, economics, social studies,
sociology, psychology, geography, geology, political science, law, real
estate, corporate policy, accounting, business, insurance, management,
finance, marketing, and any subject where you have to learn or memorize
terms, words, ideas, concepts, names, places, or dates.  It can even help
you raise your scores in the GRE, LSAT, GMAT, SAT, or ACT.

You probably wonder how people wrote anything before word processors.
After you've used NIMONIK you will wonder how people learned anything
before NIMONIK.

All you need is an IBM compatible computer (or access to one) with at
least 448K memory, one or two floppy drives (hard disk recommended but not
necessary), and any kind of monitor.

    Nimonik is menu-driven and easy to use.  The printed manual which
comes with the Registered Version of Nimonik should cover any function or
operation that the user may need to know about.  It is, however, necessary
to stress a few points in order to ensure maximum benefit to the user from
this product.














                                 page 1    The most important difference between Nimonik and other learning
programs is that Nimonik keeps track of where your weaknesses are.  This
feature alone will save you untold numbers of hours of work and
frustration when learning or memorizing your subjects.  The way you learn
is first of all by being forced to condense and organize your material
during the ADD option which will also force you to understand the
material.  Then TEST will let you know how well you know the material.
DRILL is the single most important activity in Nimonik.  DRILL will drill
you on those terms that you need the most help with.  You should spend
most of your time in the DRILL option.  Finally, REVIEW, will ensure that
you have covered all the terms you need to know.  All these activities
(REVIEW, TEST, and DRILL) keep track of which terms you know and which you
don't know, but only DRILL actually uses that information.  TEST chooses
terms at random, and REVIEW chooses terms sequentially as you entered
them.

    In order to begin using the four example files provided on the
Subject Disk, the files must first be installed by the following
procedure: Simply copy the four files to your chosen directory (You MUST
use the DOS copy command to do this).  Then load Nimonik and pick the
RESET option from the MANAGE MENU.  You will not be able to use these four
example files until you RESET them in this manner.

THE SHAREWARE CONCEPT

Zoft Systems is a professional software development company and must have
funds to continue operating and providing you with quality software and
support.  The Shareware Concept is a marketing strategy that benefits both
the user and the software companies.  We benefit by being able to bring to
the public a product with less capital investment.  This allows us to pass
on the savings to you so that you can obtain quality software at much
lower prices.  Not only that, but you get to "try it before you buy it".

If you find this product to be useful and helpful in your student or
professional career, please register and pay the registration fee.  Not
only will you then get a warm feeling all over, but if your Shareware
Version Serial Number gets enough distribution you could actually make
some money.  We think it only fair to reward you for helping us to market
Nimonik.  Read on for more details.






                                 page 2REGISTRATION VS SHAREWARE

There are two versions of Nimonik 1.0: the Registered Version and the
Shareware Version.  The Registered Version is the full-blown version that
you get when you purchase, pay for, and register Nimonik.  IT IS ILLEGAL
FOR YOU TO COPY, SELL, OR DISTRIBUTE THE REGISTERED VERSION (see the
license agreement below).  The Shareware Version differs in that it only
allows for 50 entries per file and limits the number of learning sessions.
You may copy, distribute, upload or download to Bulletin Boards via modem
the Shareware Version if you follow these restrictions:

1) You must not modify, delete or add to the object code or the number of
existing files.

2) You may not receive any compensation or money for the copy you are
distributing except as follows:

a) Clubs and user groups may charge a nominal fee (less than $10) for
expenses and handling while distributing the Shareware Version of Nimonik.
(Payment of such fees cannot be applied towards the registration of
Nimonik).

b) Bulletin Boards may charge nominal access fees as long as the fees are
not exclusively applied to Nimonik.  Only the Shareware Version can be
allowed on Bulletin Boards.  Under no circumstances should the Registered
Version be allowed on any Bulletin Board. (Payment of such fees cannot be
applied towards the registration of Nimonik).

c) For each paid registration of Nimonik resulting from your own personal
Shareware Version Serial Number you will be paid $10.00 by Zoft Systems.

d) For each paid commercial site-license of Nimonik resulting from your
own personal Shareware Version Serial Number you will receive a 25%
commission from Zoft Systems.

Both the Registered Version and the Shareware Version of Nimonik are
copyrighted and fully protected by all applicable laws.  Neither version
is free.  The Shareware Version can be used for a trial period of no more
than 15 (fifteen) days.  If you like the Shareware Version, you are
required to send in the included Registration Form along with the required
sum.  When you register please include the Serial Number of the Shareware
Version you have been using.  This will entitle you to a $5.00 discount.
Registering will not only give you all the benefits as described below but
will enable you to receive your own Serial Number Shareware Version from
which you can earn $10.00 for each copy registered with Zoft Systems.
Thus, you are not only permitted to copy and distribute the Shareware
Version but are encouraged to do so and even rewarded.

ALL COMMERCIAL SALES MUST FIRST BE APPROVED IN WRITING BY ZOFT SYSTEMS.




                                 page 3ZOFT SYSTEMS LICENSE AGREEMENT

The following license agreement applies only to the Registered Version of
Nimonik.  Registered Version is defined as the version that you have
purchased and paid for and that you have registered by filling out and
sending the Registration Form to Zoft Systems.  This license agreement
does not apply to the Shareware Version.  You are not eligible to any of
the terms in this license agreement if you have not registered and paid
for your copy of Nimonik.

This software product is licensed to you to use on a single machine.
However, it may not be used by more than one person nor on more than one
machine simultaneously.  You may not network this product.  You are
permitted to make up to two copies solely for archival or backup purposes.
You may transfer the program on a permanent basis and license it to
another party if the third party agrees to accept the terms and conditions
of this agreement.  If you transfer the program, you must at the same time
either transfer all copies of the program regardless of form to the same
party or destroy any copies not transferred.

This license shall be effective from the date you open this package and
remain in effect for a period of twenty-five (25) years unless terminated
sooner as provided in this agreement.  You may terminate this license at
any time by destroying all copies of the program (in any form).  Your
license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any terms or
conditions of this agreement.

LIMITED WARRANTY

The following limited warranty applies only to the Registered Version of
Nimonik.  Registered Version is defined as the version that you have
purchased and paid for and that you have registered by filling out and
sending the Registration Form to Zoft Systems.  This limited warranty does
not apply to the Shareware Version.  You are not eligible to any of the
terms in this limited warranty if you have not registered and paid for
your copy of Nimonik.

Zoft Systems warrants that the program will conform, as to all substantial
operational features, to Zoft Systems' current published specifications,
documentation and authorized advertising; that, the user documentation
accompanying the program contains the necessary information to utilize the
program; and that, the media on which the program is furnished shall be
free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90)
days from the date of delivery to you as evidenced by a copy of your sales
receipt.  Except for the Limited Warranty set forth above, the program is
provided "as is."  Zoft Systems makes no other Warranty, express or
implied, with respect to the program and specifically disclaims the
implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular
purpose.  Zoft Systems does not warrant the program will meet your
requirements or that the operation of the program will be uninterrupted or
error free.  You are solely responsible for the selection or the program
to achieve your intended results and for the results actually obtained.

                                 page 4LIMITATIONS OF REMEDIES AND LIABILITY

In the event the program fails to meet Zoft Systems' "limited warranty,"
Zoft Systems' entire liability and your exclusive remedies shall be:

A.  The replacement of any program not meeting Zoft Systems' "limited
warranty" which is returned to Zoft Systems or any authorized dealer with
a copy of your sales receipt.

B.  If Zoft Systems cannot or will not replace the program, you may
terminate this Agreement up to one year after date of purchase by
returning the program and all copies to Zoft Systems and your money will
be refunded.

Under no circumstances, and notwithstanding any failure of the essential
purpose of any limited remedy provided herein, shall Zoft Systems, or any
of its program developers, or any other of its employees, be liable to you
for any damages, claims or losses whatsoever, including but not limited to
any claims for lost profits, lost savings or other special, incidental or
consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the
program regardless of the circumstances.

Except as expressly provided for in this license, you many not use, copy,
modify, reproduce, transfer or distribute the program in whole or in part,
without first obtaining Zoft Systems' written permission.

1)  You will receive the latest Registered Version Program Disk, one
Subject Disk (4 subjects: English, computer terminology, states and

questions.

5)  You will be informed by mail when the next upgraded version of Nimonik
comes out, and you will be able to purchase it at a substantial discount.

6)  You will be eligible to buy New Subject Files as soon as they become
available for small fees: $5.00 for 1 Subject File, or $3.00/file for 2 or
more files, plus $3.00 shipping and handling.  (Planned Subject Files are
Real Estate, Legal Terms, Biology, Medicine, Economics, History, Business,
a much expanded English Vocabulary, and many more.)

7)  You will be able to submit your own Subject Files and earn $.10 (ten
cents) per entry used (an entry is a word or term and its definition) + a
percentage of the sales.  (20% to Zoft Systems, 80% divided among all
submitters based on the number of entries used for each Subject).

8)  You will receive a Shareware Version of Nimonik with your own personal
Shareware Serial Number which you will be encouraged to distribute to your
friends and colleagues either by giving away Shareware copies or by
uploading the Shareware copy to computer bulletin boards.  (Most BBS
Sysops will welcome your contributions).  For every sale based on your
Shareware Serial Number you will receive a commission of $10.00 (ten
dollars).  We want to reward you for helping us to market Nimonik and at
the same time we wish to discourage you from giving away the real, full-
blown Registered Program.

All monies due to you will be paid every other month to cut down
administration expenses.
