  1.    In KRYPTO, a Quotation is converted into a series of symbols. Only the
  2.    letters of the alphabet and the dash(-), apostrophe('), period(.) or
  3.    questionmark(?) are allowed in the Quotation.  The Kryptogram will be
  4.    up to four rows deep, depending on the length of the Quotation. The
  5.    maximum Quotation size is 100 letters and spaces. The purpose is to
  6.    assign letters to the symbols in the table until the Quotation has been
  7.    re-constructed.

  9.    To play, type KRYPPLAY, choose an KRYPTO file, then choose a Kryptogram
  10.    from that file.  Press F1 to find out how to move, erase letters, etc.
  11.    and what the Train and Cheat Modes do.

  13.    Creating Kryptograms is easy.  Just find an interesting quotation up to
  14.    100 letters and spaces long.  ( Remember only letters of the alphabet,
  15.    spaces, apostrophe('), period(.), dash(-) and questionmark (?) can be used.
  16.    Type KRYPMAKE for the create module, and type in or select a filename.
  17.    Enter your name ( as the creator of the KRYPTO file ) and press F10.
  18.    Now choose ADD, type in your quotation and press F10.  Now type in the
  19.    the name of the Quotation's author ( or a sentence to give the player a
  20.    clue about the quote ) and press F10.

  22.    And that's it! You can add as many Kryptograms as you want to the file
  23.    ( up to 200) but I suggest you limit the file to 20 or 30 or the file gets
  24.    too big.

  26.    KRYPMAKE produces two files.  The first ends in .KSR and the second one
  27.    has the same name but ends in .KRP.  The .KSR file is the source code so
  28.    that you can change a Quotation later. The .KRP file is the one that is
  29.    used to play KRYPTO.  So if you want to share your creations with others,
  30.    they only need the KRYPPLAY module and the .KRP files.

  32.    Why not upload some to your local Bulletin boards?  Or to Compuserve
  33.    ( the IBMNEW Forum - Word Games  library or the Education Forum -
  34.    ShareWare library ). Identify your files with the key word KRYPTO so
