  5.     DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS AND CALCULUS has several programs that solve
  6. differential equations and calculus problems, and conveniently graphs them
  7. for you on an EGA monitor. The differential equation program can solve both
  8. ordinary and partial differential equations, find the integrating factors
  9. of a differential equation, and create a graph of power series solutions.
  10. The calculus program can find the derivatives of an expression in x and/or
  11. y, graph the function of y=f(x), graph a function with its first and second
  12. derivatives, solve and graph parametric equations, find the integral of
  13. simple functions, and find the surface contour of the function z=f(x,y).
  14. EULER is another differential equation program on this disk that lets you
  15. define the function, input the step, and enter the initial and maximum
  16. values of x and y. The program then graphs the function for you on the
  17. screen. DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS AND CALCULUS is an excellent and easy to use
  18. math program, which can be used for personal use, homework, or as an
  19. educational tool. It includes two programs that use a math 8087 coprocessor
  20. chip, which speeds up the program's calculations.

  24. System Requirements: 128K memory, one floppy disk drive, and EGA color
  25. graphics (some programs need a 8087 math chip).

  27. How to Start: Type FILENAME (press enter), FILENAME is equal to the name of
  28. the program that you want to load. For example, if you want to load the
  29. CALC program, you type CALC (press enter).
