- Genet - A genetics tutorial
-
- Genet is a Basic program that uses color graphics. Written by
- two high school students for their advanced biology class, the
- program contains information on the history of genetics, the
- use of Punnett squares, genetics terms, an experiment involving
- dominant and recessive traits, and a quiz over the information
- covered. The program is menu-driven and a hidden option 8
- on the main menu followed by pressing a capital Q will reveal
- any quiz scores that have been saved to the disk. The program
- is a good introductory exercise for students beginning a study
- of genetics.
-
- The following files are needed for Genet:
-
- GENET.BAS - main program
- GPIGS.PIC - graphics screen
- GIR.PIC - graphics screen
-
- Any comments, suggestions, or donations are welcome, although
- there is no further documentation available. Please feel free to
- distribute the program and/or use it as a teaching aid.
