- Starting the program
-
- TUTOR.COM may be run from either your floppy or hard disk. The only
- restriction is that all files must be in the DOS default directory.
-
- If running from a floppy, place the disk with program and tutorial
- files into your drive (usually A: or B:). Make that drive the default
- (type A: or B: followed by a carriage return at the DOS prompt). You
- may then start the program as described on the next screen.
-
- If running from a hard disk, you must first copy program and tutorial
- files into a subdirectory on that disk and then run from that subdirectory.
- To create a subdirectory, use the MD command:
- C>MD C:\TUTOR (TUTOR is the suggested name, you can use
- any name that fits your file system.)
- Now copy the files from the floppy disk into that subdirectory. Place the
- floppy into drive A: or B: and then issue the command:
- C>COPY A:*.* C:\TUTOR (Use your drive designations if they
- are not A: and C:.)
- Finally make that subdirectory current and start the program as described
- on the next screen.
- C>CD \TUTOR (After this command issue a DIR command to make
- certain all files are present.)
